Did you guys submit an unofficial or official transcript?

Anyone know if we're supposed to mail our official transcripts? or do we wait to be notified by the school? (I've already uploaded my unofficial transcripts).

I just check online, you have to send your official transcripts by April 1!

Does general chemistry I alone fulfill the chemistry requirement or do I also need to take general chemistry II? I'm currently enrolled in gen chem II and I'm wondering if I should drop that course so it doesn't hurt my GPA (especially since I'm also taking Microbiology).

Im pretty sure you only need chem I. Call & confirm but yes I don't believe you need chem II

@Ada01 Do you know what other schools generally require for chemistry? For NYU specifically it seems like gen chem I is enough and they won't even accept gen chem II to fulfill the requirement.

Unfortunately the chemistry requirement varies the most from school to school in my experience. You just have to check with everyone you're applying to.

@Joanne525 So far all of the schools on my list just want a one semester 4 credit chem course with lab and it's usually called something like "general, organic, and biochemistry.” For NYU and one other school on my list, they explicitly point out that gen chem I alone suffices. At this point, I'd rather switch into a class that I know for sure will transfer over (like nutrition for example) over continuing with a course I likely won't need.

Does anyone know if NYU accepts credits for the prerequisite courses to be taken online through programs like Portage Learning, Sophia Learning, and Straighterline? One of the other schools I'm applying to mentioned that they accept those for the prerequisites.

NYU accepts Portage Learning - I'm doing developmental psychology right now on there.

@bbrinkman I emailed them today to ask about that and the person who responded to me said that decisions go out on a rolling basis during April and May.

@brightFUTURE00 How is the developmental psych course in terms of pace and difficulty? I'm planning to take that one and nutrition. They also got back to me today and said that the only thing they don't accept is an online chemistry course.
