Members are discussing their acceptance into NYU's nursing program, sharing their acceptance stories, asking about financial aid, creating a Facebook group to connect, and inquiring about the workload and staff at NYU. Some users are also considering other schools due to financial considerations and scholarships offered. There are questions about the application process, timelines for hearing back, and the possibility of receiving the ABSN for free based on income.
@Nurse_Soleil5858 Hey! I don't think anyone will receive any updates until after the April 1st final deadline has hit. After that deadline is usually when they also start to send out admission decisions.
For those who already submitted, did you attach your unofficial transcripts and also send the school the official transcript? I see on common app it says you can send if the official transcripts once/if you get in but on the NYU website it says to submit the official transcripts, so I'm a bit confused
@Alexander Van Raalte I could be wrong but from what I understood from others (and I think from their website as well) is that they start releasing decisions on a rolling basis only after the final deadline has hit which is April 1st. So after April 1st is when they would start releasing decision batches weekly like they usually do if I'm correct.
Does anyone know the stats for getting in? I am transferring from a community college in California. I just applied to 7 Cal States and I want to apply to more schools because it is so impacted here with only 30 applicants getting offered spots and 1500+ applicants.

Stats:
- 3.8
- TEAS 78.7 (Don't even know if they require)
- 2000+ hours of MA experience
- 200+ hours of volunteer experience
I believe NYU lets in roughly 200 students each year for the program. Their website states that all prereqs need at least a C to be considered. There is no entrance exam.

Hi everyone, I made this thread so that those who are applying to the NYU ABSN Fall 2024 can ask questions/stay in touch.
