Hi I'm new here and I originally posted this in the general forum but I think that posting this in the New York forum might be better. I recently applied to New York Presbyterian Nursing Attendant - BSN Students class of 2017 and 2018 and got a call back for an interview. I was wondering if anyone else has applied and has been through this process. For example, what to expect during the interview, what should I bring with me, what is like working for NYP and etc. ?

Hi:) I got a call back for an interview as well! But I can't go unless I miss a day of clinical not sure if I should skip a day of clinical or take the chance and wait for them to schedule another interview day... I asked the lady who called and she said if they don't hire enough people from the first interview day, they'll make another interview day.

Likewise. I couldn't hear the recruiter very well, but is it true it's three 8 hour shift positions?
Congratulations, the recruiter told me the three shifts are 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am ? she also told me I should be getting an email but I haven't received it yet, Have you ?
Yes. So do we work 24 hours? I was confused by when she said we need to work three 8 hour shifts.
Nope. She said by the end of the week.

I think what she meant was we pick three different days and we would chose which 8 hour shift we wanted to do for that day actually she only told me about the hours not the days, she was pretty vague about the position .
How did it go? I felt like interviews were pretty rushed

I think it went okay! How many people did you speak with in total? and what time was your interview?
