Hi all,
I am a newly graduated BSN student from Massachusetts. The job market seemed really tough in MA so I decided to interview at New York-Presybiterian a few weeks ago. I was sent an email for the nurse battery and then another email stating I was "a top candidate". Based off what they said from the interview it seemed like they would eventually match me with a unit based off this nurse battery. Has anyone had any recent experience with this? Does anyone know or have experience with how long it took to match them with a unit?
Thank YOU!

Hi! I also went through the same process as you and was considered a "top candidate." I would also love any information regarding when we can expect to hear about possible positions, if at all. Thanks!

They send that email to everyone who does well on the career battery. They have limited posistions that are suitable for new grads. You may get a offer and you may not. I would continue to look in the meantime. I received the same email after I took the battery in December and have yet to have a offer
So i FINALLY heard back from them. I have to go back in the next few weeks for a second interview with the nurse managers. Even though it isn't an offer it is a step in the right direction. I'm glad to have heard back.

Hi Jackie33,
I went to the May 13th meet and greet event and was invited to take the career battery assessment. Approximately few days later I received an email stating that I was a top candidate. One week ago I go an email saying that I'm invited to another event later this month to meet with unit nurses, is this the same email you received?
This is what I heard as well, however I can't tell if an interview or a job would even come from this...I am from out of state and would have to fly in for this and am wondering if it is worth my money to go to this next event, or if I would then have to wait months to hear from them again for yet another interviewing event. Have you guys heard anything? Could this be our last round, and an interview could be conducted on the spot? I would appreciate any information, thanks!
I'm wondering the same thing. But I'm hoping that this will be the last event.
Hi KLW96,
Yes this is the same email I got!
Hi nurselaur1,
I have no clue if this will lead to a job or if its the last interview. I live a few hours away so its not too too bad for me to go. I am disappointed that this process has taken so long, and without any information as to which step in the process we are. I will let you know if I hear of anything but I'm not hopeful that I will.
-best of luck
Thank you, jackie33, I would really appreciate that! Good luck on your interviews!
Hey Jackie33,
after you received the email from NYP, and selected what date you wanted to attend. Did you get a response from them?
I responsed to the email two weeks ago but I didn't get a confirmation email back about the date I selected
Did anyone receive any updates after meeting with the unit managers?
