Try garcia general hospital. They offer 3 mos. free training. If you know st. vincent hospital in marikina its at the same street. Der opening slots for september. Just pass your resume, tor, trainings (bls, acls, etc) photocopy of license. After passing d requirements, you will have an exam bout 100 items lyk computations, multiple choice, abbreviation of disease n stuff n 10 ryts of patients. About d training, its good you can function as a staff nurse minus d salary of course. If they ask you about who's ur referal, say its jie de mesa.
is there anyone in this thread a July 2010 board passer? if so, did you get your board certificate in PRC? i went there last week and it's still posted that they're not giving it yet.. it's one of the important requirements when applying for training in hospitals so it's really frustrating! thanks in advance for a reply..
hi i'm also a july 2010 board passer and i got my board certificate last year after i passed the exam
@aximile
were you the one who posted that receptionist at metropolitan have pretty faces?? i was laughing wen i read your post, not that i dont agree with you, it just so happen that i know them and they are also nurses(and yes, they are pretty) hehe. i also passed my resume there, its an advantage if you know how to speak chinese because there are lots of chinese patients there. Goodluck to all of us!
I went to NKTI yesterday bec. my friend informed me that they are currently hiring nurses. but unfortunately you must have at least 6 mos. clinical experience as a staff nurse and they don't consider hospital training. it's really frustrating. how can we, nurses, grow from novice to professional nurses if they don't give us a chance to get hired and hone our knowledge and skills! the woman in the HR dept. told me that i can add my 6 mos. training to my credentials but it seems like it's useless. :flmngmd:
