guys, any updates bout what hospitals are open for volunteer/staff nurse applicant?
hay.. its kind of depressing what's happening right now. Most hospitals are not accepting applicants for training programs because of the issue (which for me, is actually good, it's just utterly unjust. hehe) which leaves us on a bigger problem on how we can put into action what we've learned. Its good that the BoN will be acting upon this problem. I think they're thinking of ways on how to "legitimize" and draw the "limitations" on these post grad programs, kudos to the BoN! Filipino Nurses are with you! :):):):)
Hi, I went to QMMC yesterday. And as posted in Accreditation and Affiliations Office, applications for QMMC nursing training program are currently on hold. Please be back by March 2011. But then, my application wasn't accepted. Mr. Security Guard told me that nurses applications will be on Mar 8. Don't know if they will still entertain applications by then even i just got there 4 days ahead.
Secondly, at Amang Rodriguez Medical Center, is also not accepting applications as of the moment. As per the nurse in NSO, their 3-month nursing training program just started 2 days ago. And lastly, Marikina Valley Medical Center, is likewise not accepting applications right now.
This is really frustrating for us nurses.

Hello. For those of you who are living in Laguna, Sta. Rosa Medical Center is accepting volunteers. You'll be given a P120 allowance for every day of 'work'. All you need to do is pass your updated resume. I passed mine this month and they haven't called me yet. Two of my friends are currently enrolled in their volunteer program and they say the experience is quite good. I'll update.
New Sinai MDI hospital, last I heard, is accepting applicants for their training program. For 4k. If you're performance is good, you'll get hired. I heard it's a good hospital. Try your luck there.
Also, I heard South Luzon Hospital/ Medical Center is hiring but there is a very low census of patients there. You have to undergo training for a few months (don't know how long), then you'll be hired. Again, I just heard this from someone who knew someone. Can't hurt to try, right?
Good luck to us. :)
