New school: nervous but excited

I just received my associates in science from community college. I am now a student at Madonna University. I am so thrilled to be attending school here. I have always wanted to go to Madonna since I was 10 years old. I need to take 12 credits before I can apply.

Nursing is something that I have always wanted to do. I cannot wait to embark on the next half of my journey

Have you had healthcare experience? Before you apply I suggest getting your CNA license and working as one somewhere, it's great experience! Good luck :-)

Yeah I want to do that and I was about to, Ugh long story: I attended a career prep school while in H.S where I learned CNA skills. My senior year was when I was going to be certified. I told my H.S that I wanted to take math at the H.S rather than at the prep school so I can do clinicals. They didn't listen and that in turn didnt allow me to do clinicals because I had math class. The program was free and after H.S I was focussed on my schooling I did not have time for a health care job. However I was in a summer health academy program, I did volunteer work at a nursing home, I shadowed a couple nurses, etc. (Does that make sense. I hope so)
