hi ,hi just recently passed my nclex rn and now im having hard time to apply for a job. Im a rn in the Philippines but I don't have any working experience due to job shortage there and before I know it ,its been long years since I graduated. Anyone can you please tell me which is best place to start with as I don't have any working experience.thanks
Hey... we're in the same position. I'm also from the Philippines, nclex passer, never been employed. I graduated 2010. Tsk... the job market is even tougher for international nurses with no experience. I don't know if potential employers would even bother considering hiring me because it's been such a long time since I graduated... I don't know what to do.
That's true, it's really hard to compete with our other fellow nurses blessed their heart but we also want to get hired as well.I just keep sending resumes, I even walked in applicant just to apply ugh.how bout u?where in Alabama are you?

I'm in california at the moment... but have an out of state license. Have you gotten any interview offers yet? I think... in our situation... it's not impossible to get a job... but it would take a while. So I may take up that refresher course thingy just to update my skills... and volunteer while I'm sending out my resume. Hehe If it's okay to ask, when did you graduate?

Yup. I think this would be a good idea. I'm searching for schools that offer rn refresher courses near or within my area right now. It's the only other option for me. *sigh*
