New RN is US looking to go to London

Published

Hey everyone,

Here is my deal: I'm a Paramedic (6yrs) now in a RN transition program. I'll be done in May. What I want to do is move to London for a year or two. I won't have any experience when I leave. I thought my medic time might help me in an ER over there. I was wondering if anyone knows how to start working over there as a new nurse.

Thanks,

Anthony

If you have a look on the UK nursing board website they have an international section which will tell you what you need to do. Living in London will be very expensive. There are plenty of jobs all over the UK and I don't think you will have any problems finding a job
