There is a new rn program starting, and they are accepting their first students. Since the program is new it is not accredited and obviously there isn't a pass rate for the school. Should I give it a chance, any feedback would help.Thank you:)

you should check with your states BON to see if the school has at least a provisional agreement to do the program. Also I heard some new schools with a provisional license could get shut down and the students would be sol. The best advice is to call your BON. Dont get sucked into something not legit.
FYI- starting an RN program that is new sounds a bit icky. Ask about the degrees and how long the instructors have been doing what they have been doing. It might be much, but I search my instructors names on the BON website if they are licensed. It could help you see how long they have been nursing and if they have any negative fidings on thier license.
Good luck with whatever you do!
Well that is exactly how i felt about this new rn program. Did not like the sound of it so im still undecided. However i found out the school is listed on my state BON site. also look at the director and other nursing teacher and found no negative finding. Thanks for your response.

Have you applied to other programs? Why not apply to others and if this is the one you get into, give it a shot? If you have a choice between this and other schools, I think you should go with an established program.
Yes i have applied to other programs, and im keeping my options open
Ok, cool. Well...... I say go for it. If you get in and everything is legit do the darn thing! I wish you nothing but success in your future studies!
