I've never interviewed with Florida Hospital. But I have been asked in interviews: How would I handle conflict with a coworker; how would I proceed if I encountered patient or family member who was upset about care received on the previous shift; what would I do if a patient refused a medication, what would I do if, right after shift change, one of my patients requests pain medication before I've had a chance to see any of my patients, etc..
For me, it was "recall an incident involving....., and how did you handle it". For you, they would probably want to know what would you do if encountering.....
Much like with the NCLEX, take your time and think about the questions and what you would do. And don't be afraid to say that you would seek advice from someone who would have the answer for your patient if it was something that you just would not know how to address, and that you'd take that as a learning opportunity for yourself as well as for your patient.
I was given a list of patients and asked to prioritize care and to give my reasons for the patient order I chose. I was also asked basic cardiac questions such as tracing blood flow through the heart and what basic EKG changes might mean. Finally, I was asked what might be expected for prepping a pre-op patient to go to surgery in the morning. I interviewed in a surgical PCU. The questions you get will depend on the department.

Hi everyone. I am a new RN graduate and have been reading up on the new RN Grad program. I have read that they do clinical question scenarios. Does anybody have any insight or examples on what they ask? I am extremely nervous and want to prepare myself the best I can
Thanks!
