I have 10yrs of FNP experience, new PMHNP, and was offered a FT (32hr) position making $95k. This is what I made as a new grad FNP 10yrs ago. I maxed them out and got a $5k sign-on but still low. Nonetheless, I accepted the position by email 3 months ago, d/t concern that I may not be able to find a job after graduation...tough market (no matter the specialty). Now I have an offer elsewhere that has better pay and better available resources...both for patients and myself. Am I obligated to "suck-it up"? I don't want to cause hardships for anyone, but the pay difference is $25k...

I would switch. That pay is low, though hard to say since it depends on what area you are in. I had a lawyer look at an agreement for me for peace of mind. I wanted to see if there would be any ramifications for me turning down a job I had agreed to. It was 750 dollars. He looked over the agreement.

I'd switch. I'm an RN and I make more than that (in Florida).

You are under no obligation to this position. You got a significantly better offer elsewhere, so take it!
NP pay varies a lot by location. Please research what PMHNPs are making in your area. In the past week, I posted 3 new compensation reports on NP pay, so check those out.
If you are a PMHNP, you can work via telehealth, which means that if your state has crappy pay, get a license in a state or states that pay well and work there via telehealth! My employer doesn't care where the NPs live, as long as they have a CA license.
