Hello all. I'm trying to get my next assignment in New Orleans but the 6 companies I've talked to don't have anything there. Has anyone been there or know of an agency that staffs there? Thanks.

I got an offer there about a year back. It's the only time I've had one offered there. It was terrible pay, night shift for $1100 a week. I believe it was Cross Country who offered it. New Orleans is a very impoverished area.

I just signed a contract with AMN for New Orleans to start in Janruary. And yes the pay is definitely low but I guess that's the price for being there for Mardi Gras í ½í¸

Wow thanks for the help. I talked to Medical Solutions, Aureus, Cirrus, Accountable Healthcare, RTG Medical, Quest Group, MedPro Staffing, MSO, Freedom Healthcare, The Right Solutions, FlexCare, and Aya. Struck out with all of them. How did people go about finding these?

I know one nurse uses Jackson Nursing

Jackson has positions at Oschner (main campus) right now.

You could also check w/Trinity. They contract w/both Oschner & Tulane. :)
