Hi all,
I am new to this site. I graduated nursing school in May 2010 and just got my very first job as a nurse in a children's hospital OR! I have wanted to work in the OR since beginning school and am very happy to be working where I am. I love it so far and cant wait to see what the future holds in the OR for me! I just wanted to say hello!:)

I'm fairly new too. I have been in my current position for about 5 months.. Love it! I feel so lucky to have gotten the position I wanted. Its tough and theres lots to learn and some very strong personalities in the OR but its super fun and exciting too. Happy to be working as a new grad for sure.
I feel the same way! It took me about 8 months to get the job, but I just waited because I knew the OR is what I wanted! It wasnt easy trying to get in as a new grad but I am SO glad I stuck it out!!

Hey stereotypical,
Is the OR your first nursing job or have you worked in another field of nursing before?
