New NP's....What was your job offer?

When you first got hired on what were you offered?

What was your first years income? Did you work a salary job?

I know the responses will vary greatly as location and settings can be so different. I am trying to get an idea of what an acceptable offer is right out of school.

98k base with quarterly bonus. $10 extra per hour for weekends, double time for holidays. I'm in Texas

You need to include practice setting. I would be surprised if the above response by Designer NP includes family practice.

Hired January, 2014. Salary 100k. Midwest, large academic institution, Radiation Oncology.

Specializes in Adult NP- post acute care.

November 2013, Ohio, post-acute care $88,000. No weekends, no on call

Specializes in FNP, ONP.
