Hello,
New guy here. I start CNA training this week and can't wait to get into RN school.
Any advice for newcomers to the medical field?

I guess the first thing is you're not entering the medical field, you're entering the nursing field. They are different- vastly different.
Being a CNA is a great first step toward becoming an RN. You will learn a lot related to hands-on care, time management, and dealing with people. Best wishes!

Best advice would probably be to make sure and maintain an eagerness to learn regardless of the ups and downs. Also, for your skills make sure you use your time wisely and practice them. Remember: Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
