There are many places, especially in acute care, that will only hire an LPN if she/he is planning on getting their RN.When I was in school for my BSN (I never finished) my employer allowed me to do two twelves on the weekends and a 4 hr shift during the week. I would guess that if you are already enrolled in school, you are ahead of others looking for jobs.
Best to you

I graduate from LVN school in Houston in 3 weeks, and am already enrolled for classes 2 days a week starting in the fall to continue my prerequisites for a BSN. Is this going to be a problem when finding a job? I'm wondering will it be a burden to a new employer, or will it show that I am driven, goal oriented, and planning to strive for higher education. In turn showing that I could be a long term investment, because in a few years I will be an RN? I need opinions!
