:ancong!: As soon as your license status is available on your state board website you can have employers verify your license status for employment purposes. They can verify by phone, fax, or over the internet. This info should be available shortly if not already. If I were you, I would start looking for work on Monday. Look at the employment websites, http://www.indeed.com, is a good one. Also look at want ads in the paper and check with your employment dept's website. You can also start going in person to employers. Be dressed to interview and have your resume, ID, SSN card, CPR card, copy of latest physical w/TB test results with you. You might get hired on the spot. Your best bet is long term care facilities. Good luck.
Wow... thank you very much. Think I will go and try to look that up now.

I live in Calif. three days after finding out I had passed I drove down and paid 120 bucks for my temporary license. I could have done it the same day. Three days later applied for and got a job. My name wasnt even in the computer yet when my employer tried to confirm my liscense but in the end it didnt matter because a week and a half after getting my temp license I recieved my permanant one. I was already scheduled to start work the day after I recieved it.

Congratulations!
Did you volunteer anywhere to have some experience so you can be hired? Please give me some tips?
