New LPN which job is better? Homecare or LTC?

Published

The homecare pay is$23 hr one patient. I worked one shift and it was terrible. Not enough training I felt like a bother calling the DON.

I applied at an LTC been open for three years.

Pay is $20 with shift differential $3.

Everyone says I'm foolish for leaving an easy job going to LTC. But I don't feel like my license is safe. Any advice?

If you don't feel like your license is safe working with one stable home care patient, you are in for a big surprise in the LTC facility.

The patient wasn't stable and help from on wasn't welcoming
