Have you been applying at LTC facilities? They pay pretty good and are usually happy to get new grad LPNs on board. Good luck.

do you have any suggestions for ltc that take new LPN's i have also noticed they are requireing 1 year experience too. i had my LPN and decided to take 6 years off to be with my children. now i am having a problem finding someone to hire me!

I had the same problem going back to work as an LPN after 10 years off. My solution was to go back for my BSN. :D Perhaps taking a refresher course would make you more marketable? That was my plan had I not decided to finish my BSN.

well, i am going to do that but the first one i could find is starting in May. so here I wait! (the refresher i mean) i was looking into the bsn, but it says you need 6 months experience as an lpn before you can take the lpn to rn courses. so i still have to get a job to be able to pursue that. that is my goal.
