Take your prescribed meds with you.
Don't take anyone else's meds! If something shows up in your urine that you cannot produce a prescription for, you will not be hired. And the prescription has to be in your name.
These days, it's safest to assume that you will be drug tested in any new job, so don't be taking something you shouldn't.

I just got a new job at an assisted living and I go for my physical on Tuesday. I know they do a urine test but I don't know if it's a drug test and/or a regular UA. My MD Rx'd me Soma 325mg and Naproxen 500mg yesterday for sciatica and I wasn't sure if the Soma would be tested for. Despite that, I was in so much pain yesterday my dad gave me one of his Tylox (yes, I know that's illegal) but I'm not sure how many days it takes for that to get out of my system.
Any advice/knowledge to share? (I'm a new nurse and my old job I just quit never drug tested me and Ive never had one anywhere else, so I don't know too much about them).
Thanks
