I have been at my first nursing job for ~7 months. I'm looking to eventually move on to an area I'm more interested in. I am trying to fix up my resume now that I have some RN experience but I was wondering if I should keep my clinical experiences on my resume?? I have experience as a CNA and RN but those are the only two experiences I have, so I thought leaving my nursing school clinicals with specialty areas on there might help me in the application process?
Whether I leave now or in a year I just want to edit everything so I'm good to go when the time comes! Thanks!

I would take them off. Concentrate on actual experience as an RN, CNA experience, education & any other certs.
As long as you have an RN, hiring managers basically know what you did in nursing school.
That's fair. I just wasn't sure because I feel like my resume looks pretty empty without it. But if it isn't appropriate I wouldn't want my application thrown away for some dumb mistake!
Another quick question - Can I reuse recommendation letters from professors in my applications? Just because I haven't told anybody at my current place of work that I plan on leaving.

Empty is much better than pointless and cluttered. I wouldn't put nursing school clinicals on an employment application- even as a new graduate. The letters should be fine to use if they're general recommendations.
