hello everybody! wow..im so glad i happened to stumble on to this website. Reading all the comments/responses made me realize, im not the only one worried about applying/acceptance to nursing school.
Iam almost done w/ my prereqs for nursing schools around my area, but unfortunately due to a sudden family situation i will be moving to CA in the fall. SO...
this leaves me in a tight situation. I am currently @ a CC school, and grades are just average. Hmm i dont know what i should do.
Somebody told me that i should just give it a shot and apply to a smaller private 4 year university or nursing school and hope for the best.
Is there any CA schools that anybody can recommend? Private/public, money is not a issue. :balloons: ps: congratulations to everybody that got accepted!!!!

i wanted to welcome you!! this is a great place for emotional support. i wish it would have been around when i was in school. unfortunately i don't have any ideas for you about school, but maybe try posting on the california forum too. good luck with school!!

i think at most schools in CA you need to be a resident (state schools anyway). so i would look at private schools first. maybe you could retake some classes while you get your residency in CA.
