So here's the situation. I graduated (YAY!) and now I'm in nursing purgatory; waiting for this ATT #. I have conditional acceptance for the RN-BSN online at Chamberlain and a job lined up in the Cleveland Clinic . #Adulting
The teachers didn't send out everyone's education to the Ohio Board of Nursing. I spoke with the Assistant Dean (AD) to see where I stood; she didn't make herself clear. I was told (from a assistant professor) they don't hold information from the board anymore. Usually, if we didn't pass our Proctored NCLEX-RN predictor (they wanted a 95% chance, I got an 86%) they would. They encouraged me to retake it but Also said we don't have to take retake it. Ill be calling the head dean on Monday (today is Sunday) to see what I should expect.
If if I decide to retake the proctors predictor, the AD said I should take it after I complete my Buszta review (which isn't over until July 5th).
To summarize: If I don't retake my predictor until July 5 (and if I pass then) does that mean my information won't get sent out to the BON until then? That will mean I risk not getting my ATT until august. I know nursing schools can hold educations indefinitely if they decided to. What should I do in this instance?

Look in your student handbook and find out what the POLICY is. The school is obligated to follow its own policy.

A classmate of mine circumvented the entire debacle with the review program we were supposed to take. As soon as the college conferred our degrees she got a copy of her transcripts and sent those in along with her application to the state. The state doesn't require and sort of post-graduate review program. They just require you to graduate. She was approved and took her NCLEX before anyone else even completed the review.

Friend was lucky. The Boards normally require that the transcripts be official ones sent from the school. But that certainly was a smart idea and definitely worth the effort.
