Hi new Grads,
How much do you make Or started with this year(2007) as a new grad nurse in NYC. Thank you.
When are you starting at Cornell? I accepted a job last week for the PICU. I start on December 10th. Are you part of the Residency program?-katie
I start November 12th in the BICU. I'm not sure if I'm enrolled in the residency program or not. I'll find out this week when I go for my physical and employment services.
Wow, Columbia Presbyterian wouldn't even interview me, and I applied by fax, online and in person at a job fair! Did you all have anything special on your resume? I don't know what I did wrong!
I have experience in the ER and Cardiac Surgery ICU, along with a step-down telemetry unit. I also have my ACLS and PALS. Maybe even being an Eagle Scout helped. I built up my resume over the last 5 years, but I wasn't expecting to get a job in NYC so quickly, so I'm just as surprised.
