I have read many posts that say "New Grads Can't Find Jobs." I want to know how many new grads have found jobs recently. Instead of hearing all these negative news and I think it is nice to hear the positive ones. Thank you in advance for sharing.

I just got a job in the Johns Hopkins PICU!!! They were the only person out of like 10 applications to get back to me and from there it was smooth sailing!

I graduate in May and was hired for a icu fellowship and then will work full time in the cardiac cath lab. I was offered four different fellowships, it was pretty exciting to get to choose. A lot of my classmates got the jobs they wanted too.

I graduated in December '08 and I got a job in the Neuro ICU at Rush University Medical Center. The majority of the other people I graduated nursing school with have found jobs as well...

I was recently hired on in a long term acute care hospital (nothing like a nursing home, don't let the "long term" part fool you.) I applied to about 5 hospitals, got interviews at four, got called back for a second interview at one but by that time I had already accepted a position with the other hospital. So, in all, 5 hospitals, 4 interviews, 2 call backs, 1 hire.
