New Grads who have applied to hospitals in the Inland Empire, California....

I am moving to Redlands, CA. I am interested in working at Loma Linda Medical Center or St. Bernandine's and other hospital in that vicinity. I am curious if there are new grads who have applied to those hospitals and what their experience have been. How are those hospitals receptive to new grads?

Hi @nickilaughs: I wanted to know if you could tell me a little bit about st. Bernardines. I was offered a position in the PCU. Do you know if they have competitive salaries, how are the other staff, feel of the hospital

They probably pay well, they are a DignityHealth med center. I work for a DignityHealth hospital in lacounty and they have the best new grad pay, heck the best pay in LA (so I have heard).

@Nickilaughs: Ok thank you. I'm actually not a new grad. I was working in DC but just recently had a baby and excepting a temp position there but honestly I feel like the pay is too little from the agency.... I know they have to keep part of it because that's how they're paid but I guess I'm a little skeptical.... Don't want to get taken advantage of

Do they hire new grad LVNs or cna's too?
