New Grad Salary for Baltimore Washington Medical Center

Hey nursing friends. Anybody know what the pay rate is for the Nurse Residency Program at Baltimore Washington Medical Center?? I have an interview there next week. Has anybody else been interviewed yet and if so how did it go? Also, does anybody work there or know anyone who works there and have any idea about nurse satisfaction? Thanks in advance.

Hi FutureRNBSN12 I graduated this past May with my BSN and I passed NCLEX on 9/11. I have experience as a Homecare provider as well as being a PCT while I was in my last year of nursing school. The manager I interviewed with told me that when she is interviewing she looks for someone who has had experience with waitressing or anything dealing with public relations. I have also had 2 years experience as a waitress and 2 years as a Student Dean at my former university. I know it's tough right now for new grads but I would suggest going in to shake hands and hand in resume/cover letter. They will probably tell you to apply online but be kind and courteous and make sure they know your name so when they see your app they will put two and two together. Have someone in the nursing profession look over your resume and cover letter before to make sure it's organized and looks good. ALso, the most important thing I have done is pray. I don't know what your beliefs are and I would hate to impose anything upon you but I know that God has a special plan for your life. The right door will open at the right time!!! :) I will say a prayer for you as you continue the search. I heard that Anne Arundel is going to have a new grad program in December and the posting for it should be up online the end of this month/beginning of October. Hey, I know it's been a while since you all posted about BWMC. But I had a question I was hoping you all could answer. I feel like the website has absolutely no where for you to get your questins answered or contact a nurse recruiter. Do any of you know the nurse recruiter's # for BWMC? How did you find information about the Nurse Residency Program?

I also am looking for more info on BWMC. Can anyone answer question about rate of pay and add any info on working conditions? Also what type of questions should we be prepared for during the interview? I had an interview at a Medstar hospital and was caught off guard by the questions they asked. They definitely were not in my professionalism text book =) Any advice is appreciated.
