Hi y'all making this discussion for anyone who has applied to Children's Dallas/Plano new grad residency for their July 2025 cohort! Best of luck to all : )

I guess this is the unofficial offer letter. Congrats! What unit did you get?

CONGRATS!! Do you mind me asking for which unit? Also, did the email you or call you first? Usually I've heard the call before emailing you, but just wanted to know how it was. Thanks!

I interviewed Wednesday with heme/onc and then got a call Friday morning that I was offered the job. the email I believe is for all units because my friends who got offers for other units for hoth plano and dallas  also got the same email to expect official offer letters to be sent out in the next few weeks

I just received a rejection letter today 😢 Not sure if it was my interview or my lack of prior experience in peds/healthcare. I wish the rest of you best of luck I feel like it's been really hard to get a residency

I got mine too! don't give up or get discouraged after my interview I didn't feel confident either but I also felt like they weren't interested either like they already found someone before me which is fineee. imo I don't think many ppl who do apply have a ton of pediatric experience but take this interview as great practice! the more u do the better and u know what to expect now!! its super competitive everywhere (trust me) and u getting this far with an interview is super impressive especially for childrens be proud of urself! if u have resources to doing a mock interview or just practicing at home keep doing so everything happens for a reason I promise :,)

I'm so worried y'all I haven't even gotten either a call for an offer and or a rejection email. I'm surprised. Usually it takes them two weeks to send me a rejection email. 
I am hoping it's an offer.. but I'll keep praying. Someone here said 70 offers will be extended. 
I pray you guys get it too!

Yup same I'm just waiting for my rejection letter LOL. I'm hoping that some units are taking their time but I doubt it.

I received official offer letter yesterday and my status of the application did change to "interview" and then to pre boarding
