I'm a soon to be new grad looking to apply for jobs in the Birmingham area and i would like to know the starting pay and if there are differentials paid for not taking the offered benefits I'm looking at hospitals such as :broowkwood ,trinity(grandview) , UAB, st.vincents, and any others that you may have info about

It depends on if you work in a specialty area or not. ICU, ER, OR will pay a little more than working on the floor.
Im currently interested in the OR ,dialysis, cath lab(after getting some experience) /im also open to icu ,step down & pacu

Some facilities do not pay more for department, esp if new grad. You will need to check specific facility to see what current policy is
I didn't realize this. Then yes, check with the facilities. At my hospital, there is a difference in pay for new grads depending on where you work. Plus, you have shift diff to account for as well if you are working night shift.
