Dialysis Travel nursing
Hello , I'm interested in doing some travel nursing with dialysis as my specialty. I was wondering if anyone could provide some insight such as good companies to travel with since all companies don't cater to dialysis , a reasonable rate of pay plus housing(my cureent pay in AL is 30 per hour). I recently contacted advance nursing because they had a few opportunities in Chicago which is where I'm interested in traveling to , but I'm just not sure whats considered a "good" offer . Any input would be appreciated

Illinois endorsement
Hello, I just submitted my application for endorsement to IDFPR today (submitted live scan last week) and I was wondering how long the typical wait is to have an endorsed license issued . I read some older threads on here that says it takes forever and I was wondering if that is still true. Any info is helpful .. Thanks😀

davita sign on bonus
Hello I recently interviewed with Davita . I was offered the position on the spot and it also comes with a sign on bonus for previous dialysis experience ,I was wondering if anyone has any experience with their bonuses and how their training typically goes. I was told it was mostly on the job training within the facility but it was odd to me coming from Fresenius where we have classroom training as well as on the job in facility training. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Starting pay for Davita or Fresenius
i recently interviewed for a RN position with davita in the Birmingham ,AL area and was offered 28 per hour with dialysis pct experience and promised a starting bonus of 5k and a salary increase after 3 months, but I have a friend with no dialysis experience at all ,actually a new grad and she negotiated 30 per hour with Fresenius.

post surgical nursing
Thanks , I've been looking for information everywhere about the typical experience on this type of unit , I found a few and they reflected exactly what you said , which makes me feel like I selected the right job especially as a new grad . I appreciate your input.

post surgical nursing
Hello , I was wondering if maybe someone could shed some light on the post surgical unit floor. I'm a new grad and I recently interviewed for a job on the post surgical unit, in less than 24 hours they called to make an offer in which I'm in the process of accepting.I toured the floor while there but it didn't seem too busy.It has 33 beds on the unit .I'm scheduled for night shift but will do half of my 12 week orientation on days, I was just wondering what I should be prepared for , I don't have much experience on a med surg floor accept for clinicals and I precepted in the OR and was offered a job there but thought I might need to get some regular nursing experience as well.Any tips or suggestions or even your own experiences are welcomed and well appreciated.

Fresenius pay/offer
Thank you so much, you have been very helpful. I've discussed the education assistance as well , that was another huge reason to work for this company, they reimburse very well and the fact that I previously worked there as a tech at a different location and know what to expect. I had great references from my previous manager who stated she would gladly hire me there if there were an open position and all the co-workers had great things to say as well so hopefully this helps a lot .

Fresenius pay/offer
By bucks , how much more could I ask for without possibly offending the initial offer ... I wanted 28.50 but am unsure if that is too much more then what they offered already

Fresenius pay/offer
I'm a new grad with previous dialysis tech experience .I recently interviewed for a dialysis RN position and today they made an offer of $25.74 per hour , is this a good rate or is there room for negotiating . The ranges given at the interview was 25.50 with no experience up to 35.50
