Ok so I got my first interview...finally!!! I was so excited and now I am freaking out a little. What if I give a bad interview? I have never interviewed for a nursing position before and I am a little terrified. Knowing how long it took for me to land this one, if I blow it, it may be another 6 months before I have the opportunity again. I don't want to miss out so any advice on interview strategies would be great appreciated or any experiences as a new grad intgerviewing for the first time.

Thanks for any help:bow:

I have a question about part-time positions..how do they train you? Do you just do a preceptor on the days you come in? How many days a week is that?

I will work full time hours while I am being trained is what I was told. On the floor I am working there is the normal preceptor of 12-18 weeks and then the manager also hooks you up with a mentor for your first year. So I will be PT after the 12-18 week preceptorship.
