There are alot of nursing schools in CO producing more new grad nurses than there are jobs for - alot of competition for acute care jobs and any other that will consider a new graduate. If the market is better in missouri and there is any chance you would be offered a job (esp acute care) do yourself a favor and TAKE IT!!! When you get 1-2yrs experience under your belt and then come to CO you will have an easier time getting interviews. DO NOT move to CO assuming you will find a job when you get there. Move only if you have a job offer in writing.

Yeah...this. The job market here is non-existent for new grads. I'm considering moving out of state....it's that bad.

I'm a senior nursing student from Missouri, but I'm looking to move out to Colorado. Anywhere other than Denver if possible...... I've been searching and searching, but everything I've found requires 1+ years of experience. Anyone have any suggestions on where to look? Am I looking too soon? helllp please!!
