New Grad Jobs in AZ

U.S.A. Arizona

Published

Hello everyone! I am curious to find out what the new grad jobs are like in Arizona, specifically with Banner, Honor Health, Dignity Health, Mayo, Abrazo, PCH, etc. Does anyone know what specialties these companies hire new grads in? I'm hoping to get into NICU/L&D/PEDS/Postpartum and wanted to find out if any of those facilities hire new grads into those specialties. Thanks for the insight!

Banner will, but usually you have to know the manager/director for the unit to get into one of those. PCH will hire new grads to NICU. I have heard Honorhealth absolutely will not hire this units without experience, and I’m unsure about abrazo or dignity. Good luck!

Most new grads will work at a SNF for 6months to a year unless you already have connections with a manager or director.

I know this is a little bit of an older thread, but I would love (at least from what I can tell now) to work at PCH, if they accept new grads to NICU is it hard to move onto a different unit? I'm thinking I would really like the biobehavioral, I have experience working in behavioral health, especially kids with challenging behaviors and intellectual disabilities. I think it could be very interesting to work in NICU, but just don't want to be limited. This is all a super long way away for me, I'm just applying for nursing school now. I'm also hoping to try and get my foot in the door as a tech there when I start nursing school.
