Hi all,
I am sure this question gets asked a lot, but does anyone know of a hospital that is relatively easy to get into as a new grad in the Sacramento area. I am willing to drive up to an hour out. I have put out over 100 applications and I am starting to get discouraged. I have 4+ experience as a LVN and I am a manager, I thought this would help with finding a job. I know that it is not "RN experience", but I put in all this work and I am feeling disheartened. Any advice?

Consider moving or keep applying. Maybe have someone look at your resume? In the south, where I'm at, some community hospitals hire a few new grads here and there. They don't advertise it or have new graduate programs, though.
Are you trying places other than hospitals? No BSN combined with no RN experience might keep you out of the hospital setting, for now.
Moving is unfortunately not an option at this time. I know that some new grads were hired at Sutter from the last cohort and I will start my BSN soon. I applied out at Stockton one of their hospitals say experience preferred but not required. I will have someone look at my resume. Thank you.
