  1. I have been applying for jobs and put my title of RN supervisor on my resume. However one of my friends said when she went for an interview they doubted her skills because she was a supervisor and said she doesn't have patient care experience. I'm wondering if I should change my resume, but I do have a lot of hands on patient care experience. When the cart nurses are passing meds I am the one who assesses all changes of conditions and ensures proper care is being given. Any thoughts?
  2. Moving is unfortunately not an option at this time. I know that some new grads were hired at Sutter from the last cohort and I will start my BSN soon. I applied out at Stockton one of their hospitals say experience preferred but not required. I will have someone look at my resume. Thank you.
  3. Hi all, I am sure this question gets asked a lot, but does anyone know of a hospital that is relatively easy to get into as a new grad in the Sacramento area. I am willing to drive up to an hour out. I have put out over 100 applications and I am starting to get discouraged. I have 4+ experience as a LVN and I am a manager, I thought this would help with finding a job. I know that it is not "RN experience", but I put in all this work and I am feeling disheartened. Any advice?
  4. Looking back at this we probably all know each other. If we just graduated May 18.
  5. Well let me know. I would love to make friends going in because I'm sure there are already cliques of the RN students not wanting the LvNs in.
  6. I asked when I was there. Did you check junk mail and spam?
  7. Don't loose hope. They told me they were accepting 12 people and only 20 applied when I checked 3 days before the application close.
  8. The email said that I was notified because I had made it past the initial selection and I was to come in for a test to see what semester I would be placed.
  9. Congrats. I was upset when I received my denial from their random selection. But I just received word from Sierra that I made it to their next step which is good.
  10. Anyone who applied hear back yet?
