New grad friendly hospitals in California?

Published

I was wondering if there are any new grad friendly hospitals located in Southern California? I graduate in a year with an ADN and have begun to look for jobs since it is very difficult to find a job as a new grad. I have looked at a lot of websites for different hospitals and almost none mention anything about new grad positions. I have even called some to see if they hire new grads and if so what one would need to do to apply. Almost always I get the cold shoulder or the run around. I was wondering if anyone could give me some leads of hospitals to look into so that I am not wasting my time with hospitals that don't hire new graduate nurses. Thank you for any help that can be given.

yeah its really hard, i have LTC experience but I'm trying to transition to acute care, it's really hard to get a job if u dont have acute experience.. Try Glendale memorial and USC

...thought the situation in SoCal was better than NorCal.... I had to relocate to the midwest to get my first year of experience... and I already had ACLS. PALS, NRP and a 3.89 GPA!
