New Grad Dameron Hospital & Versant Program Winter 2013

Published

Hey! Has anyone else on here applied for the New Grad program in Stockton? I went to the open house last week and it was packed full of hungry, new grads. I applied to a few departments and have so far heard back from one. Just wondering if anyone else on here is in the same boat!

so how does the first interview go? panel? how long? what questions do they ask?

I would guess it depends on what unit you apply too. I interviewed with L&D and it was with two people asking behavioral type questions. I think that is typically how the first one goes. Hopefully, I will get a second interview and be able to tell what that's like. Good luck in your interviewing.

Have you heard back for a second interview from L&D yet? I'm still hoping!

I haven't heard back yet. But hopefully soon!

Fingers crossed! I was hoping to hear today, but it looks like perhaps Monday they will make some calls. I have several friends who have gone through the Versant/Dameron hiring process and they have all said it is painfully slow!

Hi there- Yes, I received a call from them to come in for an interview on the 14th of Jan. They phoned me on 12-19 to set it up.

Does anyone know how many total interviews there are, including the open house? Just trying to be prepared!

Hi, congratulations! What unit was it for?

The person who called me to set it up was the admin asst for CCU/tele...I did my preceptorship in telemetry and it was my first choice so I am assuming it will be for the that position.

Billh5000 i believe after open house there are three.. That's if the dept you're interviewing is following the same process as the ED. :)

Including the open house, I believe there 4 interviews

I got a second interview! I've never gotten this far before. Does anyone know how many they plan on hiring in L&D?

So the first interview is behavior questions to get to know you. What's the 2nd one like? Is it general clinical questions or ones specific to OB/L&D?
