I am going to be graduating nursing school (Lord willing) in August, and am in need of a good Cover Letter to attach to my resume. Any ideas? I have googled the topic and it hasn't been of much help...
Thanks,

Hey there! Congrats by the way on your August graduation!!!
I'm not an expert but I've written quite a number of new grad cover letters in the past few months. (I graduated in December '07). It's most important to state that you are a new graduate from which school and why YOU (a new grad) would be a good candidate for each facility you apply to. Make sure to tailor each cover letter to EACH facility...personalize them to the particular hospital and unit you are applying to...so that the nurse recruiters know that you did your homework in researching what the hospital/unit is all about.
And make sure to put in what you can offer them, even though you're a new graduate. Make it confident and concise...no need to over-do it...:) And make sure to put at the end that you are looking forward to hearing from them in the near future, whether by email, phone, etc. This shows them that you are confident that they will get back to you.
Hope this helps...:)
