We may have a latex free cart, but I am not aware of this if we do. What is your protocol for latex allergies ?

OUr ER is supposed to be totally latex free. I mean, if not, what do you do if that unknown trauma/code is allergic to latex and you're wearing latex gloves? As much as I miss my tight fitting latex gloves that aren't a pain in the butt to get on, it makes total sense to me, and I love not having to worry about it.
My first day on the job, the woman I was working with told me that my scope (Littmann) was not latex free. FYI- they are. I checked the website! -andrea

Ours is latex-free because you never know what will come through the door.
