Hi all,
In the last week, U of AZ has posted a change to their programs. They have dropped their 2nd degree BSN and have added a mepn program (master's entry to the profession of nursing (mepn) pathway). This is available to those who already have a non-nursing bachelor's degree.

I called to get more info. They said tuition would probably run between 35-45k(depends on residency status). They will start having info sessions on the new program starting at the end of this month.

The interviews were very short since, like Zhongguolong said, they were interviewing nearly 200 people. There were 3 to a group with 2 interviewers per group. They asked very basic questions; mostly questions about personal and academic character. I didn't go to the hospital interviews, but there were a lot of others that did.
So will they be deciding and sending out letters this week or next? All they told me was the beginning of March. I've been running out after the postman every day - the suspense is killing me! Good luck to you all!
I was actually in the last group waiting for the hospital interview and the CON staff was cleaning up. They had 190+/- interviewees and there are only 90 spots this year. They cut the Yuma program.
Don't bother chasing the mailman, they will notify using the same method we were contacted for interviews, by email. We were also told we would know in a couple of weeks, which tells me this weekend or so.
It was a very interesting process and the CON staff was pretty cool. Here's to hoping for the best!

i chose sponsored as 1st choice and self-paid as 2nd choice. so what are your guys's gpa? the con advisor says high gpa with a bad interview performance may lead to not getting admitted. i am so nervous now. i have a 4.0 for prerequisites and 3.55 for my 4 year undergraduate.
