We started to see them last spring as parents brought in replacements for pens that expired mid-year.
The trainers are hard to come by. They don't come in the prescription package like they used to. We had to beg, borrow and steal from the drug company to get a single trainer for each nurse in our district to rotate among buildings to show to staff.
They work the same, but the non-nursing staff is understandably worried about using something new and different.
Here is a place that I just ordered some of the new trainers from that were reasonable priced: EpiPen Trainers New EpiPen design

Has everyone seen the new design epi pen? A parent just brought in the trainer that came in her new epi pen box and I hadn't seen this new design before. If you haven't, it's more flat and has a nifty needle sheath. Just FYI!
thanks
