Hi Ready2brn-
Im in Ocala (north central Fl). I'm making 9/hr. I am on what they call a 3 for 4. I work 3 shifts, and get paid for 4, which really works out for me, because Im in school all week, plus there is a 2/hr bonus for working every weekend, which I do. Home health aides make more $$$ than those of us in a rehab, nursing home, or hospital. I used to do home health, and I was making 12/hr. Some home health agencies require an additional home health aide certificate as well. Facility staffing agencies tend to pay better than facilities, too. Metro areas usually pay better than rural areas. Hope this helps. :)

Hey everyone! I will be completing my CNA course next week and will take my state test soon. I wanted to get your help on the salary info for a new CNA in central Florida. I've heard anywhere from 7.00/hr to 12.00/hr. My only hospital experience is working as a volunteer. I pretty know I would like to work in a hospital, so can someone help me on this?? Thanks in advance!!!
