I am a new CCU/PCCU nurse looking for a good reference book. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Look at the AACN's Core Curriculum for Critical Care. CCU often will get overflow as the CCU's I've worked in (AL & GA). So you will find a patient mix with not only coronary problems but diabetes, obesity, alcohol & drug dependance, etc....This text will help you become well rounded. Best wishes, I did CCU for a long time with very good memories. Have moved on to my private practice & PACU.
