New Aspiring LPN

Hello All!

Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum...After wasting 6 years in college and changing my major several times, I have finally made up my mind to pursue my life long dream to become a nurse...At the age of 17, I was deterred from the nursing field by my dr due to my severely flat feet and weight problem, he conveyed that the strain of a nurses duties would be too much for my feet...Well after losing some weight and not being able to find a satisfying field of study, I decided to go ahead and start the enrollment process for the LPN program. I took my NET on friday and I won't get the results for two weeks but I feel confident that I did well. I'm aiming to begin the program in the fall and Next month I will start STNA classes...I'm excited about this new journey I'm embarking on as well as a little nerves about the academic demands. But this is something I've wanted to do since I was a little girl. I'm glad I found this site and look forward to bonding with all of you! Thanks for reading
