New to AN and Excelsior

Hi everyone! I've been researching these boards for a while now but just finally created an account with All Nurses. I applied to Excelsior's LPN to RN program about a week ago and now I'm just waiting for my transcript review so I can get started! I'm feeling very motivated right now, I can't wait! As far as prereqs, I think I'll need micro, sociology, and math- hopefully that's it. If anybody is just starting with the EC process, I would love a study buddy. I'm located in Michigan but I'm fine with Skype/ long distance. How long does the transcript review typically take after the college receives the transcripts? Thanks!

I applied on May 1st and my transcript was completed on May 20th. Good luck!

I will be taking Micro as well, and I believe that is all I will require. Let me know when you start your classes and when you are taking them. I am all for a study buddy especially with this being a self motivated program.

It took them about 3-4 weeks to get through all my transcripts.

I have also recently sent them a updated version, since I had to retake A+P 1 and 2... (I'm in Florida.... grrrrr). Anyways, I learned that you need to be careful. While testing out of A+P 1 and 2 maybe a option now, think further. Many programs for future stuff- CCRN programs, BSN, MSN, DNP and NA programs will not take your stuff without the lab component.
