  1. No, No... It's a 12! The pain's a 12! Maybe even a 20! The best as a medic is when you ask them to DESCRIBE the pain and the answer is an immediate "It's a 10! My pain is a 10!" Frequent flier much?
  2. Hey Y'all, After perusing the board and looking over the topics, I see a re-occurring theme regarding Lifespan (in particular) and other courses being very tough. So I was curious what in your opinion is the more difficult class at Excelsior? And why? (IE: the material is "dry", self studying, difficult material to comprehend, etc...) Thanks!
  3. @ Mya612- You aren't kidding about the College Network! They were pushy, relentless (calling ALL hours of the day and night, sometimes 5+ times a day) and wouldn't take "No thank you" as an answer. I went through Excelsior directly this time.
  4. @ Ahinman, Did you take your classes through Excelsior?
  5. I will be taking Micro as well, and I believe that is all I will require. Let me know when you start your classes and when you are taking them. I am all for a study buddy especially with this being a self motivated program.
  6. Excellent article, Thank you.
  7. @BSNINTHEWORKS, What are your thoughts on the BSN?
  8. My maiden name was McKibben. One day while the assignments were being posted at our EMS base, a co-worker walked over and stated " McKibben huh? Well from now on I'm gonna call you Kibbles." The Supervisor stated "I like it!" and stopped writing the assignments and was all too quick to erase my real name and replace it with Kibbles and to send it in to our dispatch as Kibbles. So the running joke afterwards was "Hey Kibbles... where's your bits? or Who's your bits today?" Or I'd say "I'm Kibbles, and this is my bits." Lol. I love it.
  9. That's good! Code Brown....Emergent Code Brown.
  10. Congrats on taking the first steps towards your RN!
