Hi everyoneI wanted to reach out to all 34 other 2009 accelerated nursing students. I was curious to see what everyone was doing for work while in the program. I am trying desperately to work my way into Christiana Care as a clerk but the hiring freeze as thwarted my efforts. See you all in the September.
I know this thread is old - but hopefully you'll get the reply.
I'm starting UDel accelerated in the Fall - how did you like your first year? Are you happy with your choice of schools?
Were you able to work while in the program?
Any info/advice to an incoming student? Soo many questions, but only if you have the time! Thanks!
Hey
I had a good first year in the program. It was hard but manageable. I didn't work after the first Fall semester but there were a few people who did keep their unit clerk jobs but cut their hours. It really depends on what kind of studier you are. If you need a lot of time with the information you may not want to work too much. I am sure you have a ton of questions. If you want you can email me. [email protected]
Hi,
I am interested in applying to UD Accelerated Nursing Program. Can you give me some information about class hours etc. I have two kids and I need to manage my time and I need to plan for everything ahead of time. Once I start the program, do I have to be at the campus 5 days a week from 9:00 to 5:00? I would really appreciate if you can help me. Thank you in advance.
