Moving to Nevada

U.S.A. Nevada

Published

I am going to be relocating to Nevada from California. I currently hold a valid Ca RN license and I need to transfer it to Nevada. I have been to the Nevada board site and I see you have to fill out and application and pay a fee. I also know that I have to go get a live scan done again. My question does anyone know if I can do the live scan here in Ca while we are getting ready to move or do I have to do the live scan in Nevada?

If ur in cali you cant do live scan..u can only do the old fashioned way..finger printing and its really hard to find...i visited almost 10 site for that...

You are absolutely right.. So what I did I went to lv just to get live scan... Lmclors I tried to pm you but I guess ur inbox is full... I was gonna ask any tips on finding job there?. Planning on walking in to nursing homes there . Are they still hiring?. Thank you for your time reading ; )

I am moving to Nevada from Northern California. I went to school in Vegas. All my friends are working from school. I graduated 3 years ago. I don't no how many years experience you have but the Long term care like horizon is a good place to start and also the Valley Health System hospitals are hiring. Hospice and home health is where some of my friends work and love it there. Good luck :). I'm job hunting as well.
