Neurology sites.....for disorders

Published

Does anyone have any good neuro sites to help me simplify the information in Neurology...To be honest my brain is on overload, and I have been googling for days. I keep referring to my notes and my test and I feel like I need a something else to get it to sink in...I have found a few sites, but was hoping others might know of some good ones...Thanks

see the weblinks on https://allnurses.com/forums/f205/medical-disease-information-treatment-procedures-test-reference-websites-258109.html - medical disease information/treatment/procedures/test reference websites. the major neurological diseases you should probably focus on are all brain and spine injuries, head and neck pain, als, av malformations, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, huntington's disease, parkinson's, and myasthenia gravis. stroke is sometimes included with this although it is often also included with cardiovascular disorders. seizures, encephalitis and all the different headaches generally fall in the category of neurology. as with all medical conditions, start with what is normal. as anatomy or physiological processes go wrong is where you get manifestations (signs and symptoms) that give you the specific disease or condition. use a chart to help illustrate how a disease occurs from normal to the changes that give you the disease. treatment will be focused on the signs and symptoms (to either ease or correct them) and sometimes to reverse the actual cause of the disease although that is not always possible with all conditions.
